My oldest daughter has aspergers too. I had no idea that yeast could be affecting it. She too is a picky eater which is good for the most part bc she prefers healthier foods. I will start to treat her for candida to see if that helps thanks. I have a question though. Does the regular cooking coconut oil help (since I already have some in my kitchen. Also what about adhd and dyslexia. My 9 year old has dyslexia and it is profound. My heart is breaking for her because she is just not successful at school at all. My oldest daughter with aspergers no longer has bowel problems now that her meds are right and I pulled her out of school and homeschool her now. The bowl problem is stress related and can benefit from a high fiber diet with flax seed oil. Coconut oil may help to since it is greasy. Make them sit on the toilet for 5 min after each meal and eventually it will clear up. But you have to remove the stress too or it won't work.

My grandson, Justin, has Autism, Asperber's Syndrome. He was diagnosed when he was 18 mos. old and now he's 19. He is very high functioning but his social skills are lacking. Justin takes a digestive enzyme with every meal, to deal with his leaky gut, which all Autistic children have. He also takes a multivitamin with extra C, 1500mg Calcium, 700mg Magnesium, 4000mg D3. He has a very limited diet; some food textures he doesn't like. He fixes lemonade with a liter of bottled water, 1 cup lemon juice and 2 pers full of liquid Stevia . Gluten seems to be a problem, as well as yeast products. Also, meat is filled with antibiotics, growth hormone, etc., unless it's organic. He also has Scoliosis which is being treated by Chiropractic and Yoga exercises. There is hope for Autistic kids and diet and exercise are the keys. Good luck to you, Pat Smith

many children with autism have issues with yeast. has anyone used this diet approach to rid a child of candida? If so where do you start & how long did it take to rid the body of yeast? Any & all information will be so greatly appreciated. Oh yes can you add the CO to hot foods?

Thank you very very much~
