I have suffered from Candida for as long as I can remember. Usually gets a little better when I am very, very strict with my diet and worse when I stray.

I recently started drinking coconut milk and added coconut oil to my diet. I experienced a terrible rash on my face, skin yeast infection, large acne on my buttocks and these things continued for months. Really, really awful!

I didn't really suspect coconut and thought I was an allergic reaction to something else. I had a blood allergy test (ALCAT) which showed a severe sensitivity to coconut along with olive, papaya, tea & green pepper. I have stopped the coconut milk and oil and the symptoms have subsided.

My question is... Is it possible that my blood shows severe sensitivity to coconut because there is candida present in my blood? If this is true, then should I persevere in hopes of conquering the candida? Or, is it more likely a true sensitivity in which case I really should stay away from coconut??

Completely confused about what to do! Any info would be much appreciated.
