I am brand new to TTVCO--as of yesterday, in fact. I got the book to help me learn something about this new product. My newly learned problem is candida and parasites, but I had not read far enough in the book to know what would happen to me with the consumption of the oil in this respect. Let me just say this, I took my first Tbsp and within minutes started to have the most excruciating die-off pain I ever felt! I didn't consume anymore that day because of the experience. Today I wondered how I would reapproach this. Well, I have taken 4 Tbsp today and have felt small die-off pain. This is very encouraging because I have had this since my toddler years and have only realized what it was in the last three years, in which time I have been fighting it hard. I have gotten much better with my previous efforts, and for this I am very grateful. But I could only get so far. Now I am going to give TTVCO a good shot, because this looks to me to be the final kick.

A yeast free diet is usually for a certain amount of time-usually 4-6 months. So while it is very restrictive-eliminate any and all items that will promote the growth of candida, foods do get reintroduced after the symptoms start to subside.

I have tried two candida diets. The first was so restrictive that I did not know what to ever eat for the rest of my life.

Then I found another, and I'm sorry, but I cannot re-locate the website where I found this. It's basically an elimination diet, one step per week (or at your pace). Once I was thru, I added BACK some foods to see how I felt. If my symptoms returned, I knew I had to permanently eliminate the item. I don't think there is a one-size-fits-all candida diet. You'll figure it out once to add stuff back.

1 - Eliminate sugars.
2 - Eliminate bad fats (good fats: olive oil, butter, ghee, coconut oil, coconut milk, i.e. REAL fats)
3 - Eliminate gluten products.
4 - Eliminate alcohol.
5 - Choose dairy wisely: example: raw butter, raw milk.

8 - Incorporate probiotic foods including yogurt, kimchi, lacto-fermented veggies (you can do this at any point!)

9 - Incorporate powerhouse foods (i.e. yeast killers!) such as raw garlic, cloves, apple cider vinegar, coconut oil, ginger, curry spices.

If not better by this phase, eliminate grains including corn, brown rice, white rice.

If still not better, eliminate all legumes from diet.

Continue these steps until you have relief. It took me three months. Once I felt free from this, I began to re-incorporate foods. I have determined (for myself, again, you'll figure out what's best for you) that alcohol in moderation does not cause me problems, but wheat & sugar do. Therefore these are permanently out of my diet.

Hope this helps!

I have been unknowingly suffering from what I *believe* is candida overgrowth for about 15-16 years now. No energy, carb loading uncontrollably, craving sweets, etc. etc. I also had VERY dry hands which were cracking and bleeding just 2 weeks ago. When my chiropractor saw my hands, he said it was candida overgrowth. He gave me liquid zeolite to get rid of the bad stuff in my body and it has worked like a charm along with the EVCO! Now my hands have FINALLY healed after trying everything and every lotion in existence. It sounds like there are SO many people with this condition who do not know they even have it.

Just wondering if anyone has anyone tried doing an anti-candida diet? I have a couple of books that I borrowed from the local library and it seems VERY restrictive. I am going to incorporate the recipes in these books very slowly and see if that will help some...

I see that this is what I have now, before I went to doctor after doctor after doctor. Then some one mentioned coconut oil and I remembered Look it up. Man I never knew stuff like this was happening to everyone, I though I was all alone in the world with this problem. As soon as I get the coconut oil I was hope for some releaf from the candida, now you say I may feel sickly with taking this. Believe me as much as I been sick with everything else I hope this passes fast. My Lord knows I'm looking forward to the new feeling you have using the coconut oil. Please tell me more about the effects. Thanks!!
