I love fish and use the coconut oil to fry my fish in after I use coconut flour to bread the fish with. It taste so good and knowing it is better for me makes it taste even better.

Ate eggs this morning cooked in coconut oil and it didn't taste strong, maybe it was the stir-fried onions and squash I added it. Actually it was delicious but then, I like the taste of coconut.

You can not destroy the fatty acids in coconut oil by cooking on high heat, because coconut oil is a saturated fat. That is only true of monosaturated and polyunsaturated fats....they are destroyed and made into dangerous free radicals when used in cooking. This does not happen to coconut oil, because it is saturated fat, and that is one of the reasons why it is such a healthy cooking oil.

Yes I cook eggs in coconut oil also it's also very good in soup. I also put coconut milk into soup to make it creamy-I use the full fat coconut milk and it's very tasty. I try not to cook it at too high a temp as I think that it can destroy the good fatty acids in it.

I use it for everything. Making french toast, grilled cheese, oven fried potatoes, popcorn. Sometimes I mix it with butter or olive oil depending on the foods, but it works (and tastes) great by itself.

Yes, you can cook eggs with coconut oil. It gives a nice flavor to anything you cook with it. I have found that using it as a cooking oil is so much easier then trying to find other ways to get it into the diet. It has wonderful health benefits, yes, but it is still a good, practical cooking oil. So, that's how I use it.

Hello,

I generally have eggs in the morning for my breakfast and I was thinking if I maybe could cook them with coconut oil or should I eat the oil on it's own in it's natural state?

Thanks for your help
