'How come Carmen's reply is the same as Sharon's per vadim(spelling)
I am Christine (new member). Makes me think replys aren't forth coming. Not being critical here (love you all). I tried the oil last year while in Florida and it seemed to shut my body down as to the constipation problem. But lost weight with it. Did not keep a jouirnal as to how it affected my pain and energy from my FIBRO AND C.S...But then the very hot humidity weather and the great anxiety I had while in Florida (due to what I was there for) could have had an effect on my body. Now I am hone and more relaxed maybe I can try it again. Have two new jars in my cupboard. Although I have been following Dr. S.Amands book on helping FIBRO. Are there anyone of you who has comments on his theory.............Hope I hear from some of you. Love you all again, Christine.,................P.S. The only thing that helps me with the constipation is magnesium and then it is diarrhea. If I take any laxative I get very nauseated.,,,,,,,

I don't find that the coconut oil helps at all with constipation although others say it helps them. I've found that taking magnesium supplements helps the most. I take between 500 and 2000 mg per day of magnesium in 3 to 4 doses (take at least part of it with calcium to help absorb the calcium better). You can figure out how much you need by taking 250 to 500mg and seeing if that helps. Increase the dosage until your constipation is gone. If you start diarrhea, decrease the dosage. This is the ONLY thing that has ever helped me. Carmen
