Yes, there is a brand of ice cream made from coconut milk at natural food stores, and it is delicous! You can make it at home using coconut milk, agave nectar and chocolate or any other flavor. Its really wonderful and has a texture just like cow's milk ice cream.

There's a Thai restaurant near me that serves coconut ice cream - it has no dairy. They couldn't give me the recipe because they don't make it, they buy it already made. It is totally goooooood......

I wonder if coconut milk would be good in making icecream. With my icecream maker, some of my favs are decaf coffee with halfhalf/cream and splenda and another one is coconut flakes with cream and splenda. But I wonder about coconut milk...hmmm. Mine is a lowfat version of the milk.
