I have had a rebounder and stationary bike for about 4 years...of which I go back and forth on them. I love the fact that I can get on the rebounder and jog without the pounding on my body. Your body is so resilient and will bounce back quickly. Don't get discouraged..you will do what you can do when you can do it. I even started out 5 minutes and worked up to 30 minutes. My body did the rest. Don't compare yourself with TV infomercials..I have seen them also. This is about the long haul. Keep up the good work. You are doing great! Shawnee

I love my rebounder. I think it's improved my bladder control, and it's great to have something in the house I can exercise on.

I jump for 30 minutes at a time while listening to the radio. I do the health bounce a couple of minutes and then alternate running in place and doing jumping jacks the rest of the time. I don't jump very high off the mat, but it still feels strenuous enough.

It's good to hear it improved the results of your BD test.

Anyone else out there bouncing on a rebounder??? I love my rebounder!!! The first year I had it I just jogged in place while watching TV. I did ok but did not really seem to push myself. Then my husband saw some informercial and told me that I was not going as strong/hard as the people on the informercial. So I started to really jump, Up till now I had been afraid of losing my balance but with slow jumping I got really good. Now I can jump for 15 minutes (or longer) straight and really work up a good sweat. I have added other "moves" to keep me from getting bored. I think my rebounder is definitely more fun and less stressful than going to a gym. I should also mention that even though I was only jogging in place the first year my bone density test showed a significant improvement from all my previous BD test. So working against gravity is important for us as we age.
