I am so glad I came across this. I purchased a rebounder after reading about all the health benefits, but after using one time I had wet myself so badly. Thankfully I was home by myself, but was still mortified and had not used it since. I will definitely be using it again now that I know it will help this issue. Thank you so much to everyone sharing their stories!

After my last child 5 years ago I have had this trouble increasingly. I stopped rbounding because of it. Then I learned that it could actually help. After a short time I did notice and improvement. I stopped rebounding( got busy and the pr oblem returned and I aam finding that I have to start all over again with the dreaded leaking.

Yes, it happens to me when rebounding but seems to be getting better the more regularly do it. I was shocked, even after 3 kids I had no bladder problems, worked out regularly and considered myself fit. The first few times rebounding I flooded myself, feeling great shame. Spurred on by the rebounding health benefits, I continued, gradually lessening the accidents, begin with an empty bladder and wear a pad, just in case. Thank you for posting this topic. By airing this - embarrasing for me - topic I feel I have got a game plan to look forward to rebounding!

I have an incontinence problem but after 2 months of rebounding, it has greatly improved. I'm counting on the entire problem being resolved after more rebounding. Rebounding has really improved the appearance of my thighs too - so I'm pretty pleased about that and I plan to continue jumping until some of my weight disappears - I feel pretty confident that that will happen. I think it's a great exercise. I have no problem breaking out in a sweat after about 15 minutes. My usual routine is to jump 40 minutes to one hour each day.

Hi,
When I was 49 1/2 I couldn't run even 2 steps without my bladder leaking. It was really embarrasing on one occasion as I had just started school at a local community college. We were doing a walk run to raise money for something or the other. By the time it was over I was drenched and miserable.
Shortly after, I read somewhere that rebounding helped this condition. I can vouch for that. I bought an inexpensive rebounder and used it. Within about 3-4 months, my bladder was fine. It still is though I no longer rebound (I need to just for my health). I am 69 years old now. So you can see it was really worth the time. I mostly just did the health bounce.

The trigger for incontinence is on the rim of the pubic bone one inch from
the center on both sides - not on the top or the front but at a 45 degree
angle on the rim - The rebounder will also balance it - however, if your
feet do not leave the rebounder it is called cellular exercise and should
balance the meridian faster with less problems than when your feet leave the
rebounder which is musculature exercise - Donald

The rebounder is the only truely effective way to exercise the bladder. Stop and go to the bathroom when you need to, but stick with it. In time your leaking will be greatly improved if not totally stopped.

This happened with me, as well. What I do, is just start rebounding, and when I feel the "urge" I stop and use the bathroom. After a couple of weeks, the problem seems to disappear. Therefore, I believe that the repeated rebounding exercises can help strengthen the bladder muscles, and improves the incontinence problem. Hope it works with you, too.
